A few years ago, I had the opportunity to tour Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas. If I could use one word to describe this ship, it would be AMAZING. I fell in love with her when I saw her in Port Canaveral. First, the ship is massive; it’s one of Royal Caribbean’s largest cruise ships. It’s a floating city. You will need more than one cruise on the Harmony to see and do everything.
Still not sure you should set sail on the Harmony of the Seas? Let me give you all the reasons why you NEED to take a cruise on her.
The one thing the Harmony isn’t lacking is onboard activities. There is much to see and do on the ship, from rock climbing walls to water slides, shows, and more. This ship has it all.

Harmony of the Seas Activities for Thrill Seekers
Are you a thrill seeker? If so, the Harmony of the Seas is perfect for you. Why? They have it all – rock climbing walls, a zip line, water slides, and the ultimate abyss slide.
Ultimate Abyss Slide
This 10-story dry slide is the tallest slide at sea and is for the bravest thrill seekers. It’s located on the aft of the ship, starts on Deck 16, and goes down to the Boardwalk on Deck 6. The minimum height to ride the slide is 44″ tall, and the maximum weight is 300 lbs.
Perfect Storm Water Slides
This trio of slides is located five decks above the ship’s Central Park. The Cyclone and Typhoon slides are a duo of racers that twist and turn and have translucent panels that offer stunning views of the ocean around you. Then there is the Supercell, which is a champagne bowl slide! Thrill seekers can’t go wrong with any of these slides. The minimum height for the slides is 48″ tall.
Flowrider
Onboard Harmony are two 40-foot-long Flowrider surf simulators. So grab a board and try to boogie board or stand up while your friends cheer you on. Minimum height requirements are 52″ for the boogie board and 58″ for the stand-up surfboard.

The Main Theater hosts Broadway-style shows, such as a production of Grease, and original productions, such as Harmony High.
The Aquatheater is where water meets drama with high divers, acrobatics, and fantastic water shows.
Studio B is the ship’s ice skating rink, which hosts spectacular ice shows for the whole family.
Just a note, reservations using Cruise Planner are required for most shows.

Activities for the Kids Onboard Harmony of the Seas
In addition to the above, which is perfect for families, the Harmony of the Seas also has many activities for kids. From the carousel, to the water slides just for kids, and the climbing structure on the Boardwalk on Deck 6, to Adventure Ocean. There is always something for kids to do.
