FOURTH OF JULY EVENTS IN NEW ORLEANS
Happy 3rd of July at New Orleans City Park
Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 6-9:15 pm. The Marine Forces Reserve Band performance will start at 7:15, with fireworks at 9 pm, on the Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn in New Orleans City Park. Guest are encouraged to bring their chairs, blankets, and picnics. No pets, please. FREE
Independence Day at the Museum
Friday, July 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The museum hosts two free and open-to-the-public events! At 11 a.m., the Jefferson Chorale will perform patriotic tunes in the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion. At 1 p.m., the New Orleans Concert Band will perform a program of patriotic favorites in the US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center.
Go 4th of the River in the French Market District
Friday, July 4, 2025, from 5:30-9:30 pm. Head to the Moonwalk across from Jackson Square and enjoy food trucks, live performances, music, and fireworks! You can also head to Crescent Park to enjoy even more food trucks and fireworks!
Go 4th on the River
Friday, July 4, 2025, at 9 pm, find a spot along the Mississippi River in Downtown New Orleans, the French Quarter, or Algiers Point for the fireworks.
Steamboat Natchez Fourth of July
Take a cruise on the Steamboat Natchez and watch the fireworks from the River!
4th of July Celebration Cruise on the Creole Queen
Enjoy an open bar, live entertainment including a DJ, jazz band, and a buffet of all-American favorites on the Creole Queen. Boarding is from 7-8 pm on July 4, 2025, and the cruise is from 8-10 pm. Cost is $149 per adult; $69 per child ages 6-12; $20 per child ages 3-5.
FOURTH OF JULY EVENTS IN JEFFERSON PARISH
Uncle Sam Jam:
Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 3 pm to 10:45 pm. This free event is at Lafreniere Park. There will be live music, booths, and much more, including fireworks at 9 pm.
Feed the Multiples
Friday, July 4, 2025, from 10 am – 2 pm at Victory Fellowship Church. This free food festival includes live music and gives away shoes, groceries, jambalaya, BBQ chicken, sno-balls, and more. Located at 5708 Airline Dr., Next to the Saints’ training camp.
FOURTH OF JULY EVENTS ON THE NORTHSHORE
Slidell Heritage Festival
Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Heritage Park from 5 to 11 pm. Live entertainment by Amanda Shaw is from 7- 8:45, fireworks are at 9 p.m., and Chee-Weez closes out the night from 9:15 to 11 p.m. Food trucks and beverages are available for purchase. Admission is $15 per person ages 13 and up, children 12 and under are FREE.

Sparks In the Park
Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Bring your chairs, picnic, and blankets! Food and drink will be available for purchase, and fireworks will be displayed at dusk. The event will take place at Bogue Falaya Park in Covington.
Light Up the Lake
Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 6 PM on the Mandeville Lakefront. Kids activities, food trucks, live music, and fireworks over the lake at 8:30 pm.
Madisonville Old Fashioned Fourth
Thursday, July 3, 2025. Contests start at 10 a.m., the parade at 5 p.m., and fireworks at dusk at the Madisonville Riverfront. Admission is free.
St. Charles Parish Independence Day Celebration
Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 6-9 pm. Entertainment, children’s activities, fireworks, and more. Chairs, drinks, and ice chests are permitted. No pets or glass bottles. West Bank Bridge Park, Luling.
St. Bernard Salutes America
Friday, July 4, 2025, from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. Local vendors will sell food, drinks, and much more. The fireworks will be at the end of the night. This event is free on the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center Grounds.
